After Guy’s encounter with Darkrai, he was implanted with the seed of Dark energy granting him a new form. This form is different from the others for the reason that Guy can’t access it like his other forms. It will only activate when Guy comes to a moral crossroad. When confronted with an impossible choice between duty and a loved one, if he chooses what Darkrai once chose which was saving his loved one and disregarding his duty, he will be transformed into his Darkrai PB form. When in this form, Guy’s power is unrestrained and highly dangerous. In his mind, nothing matters except Lias and protecting her. Anyone or anything that gets in his way will be destroyed without remorse. The longer Guys keeps this state of mind the more his power will increase granting him more attack variations and defenses to the point where one slip up could result in devastating consequences such as the destruction of an entire city or country. At the pinnacle of his power in this form, Guy is able to execute a truly horrible attack called Go-Batsu. This attack doesn’t do any physical damage but instead torments the target’s soul with the memories of all the bad things they’ve done by switching the roles. The target as a result will thrash around while screaming and crying begging for forgiveness. Due to this form’s nature it is often regarded as the Chosen Protector’s dark form. Guy has only gone into this form once but it was for a short time before Guy’s corrected choice destroyed it and it was replaced with the truly powerful Legendary Form.
